인천공항 수상대상 4개 분야 석권
32개 평가분야 중 29개 분야 World's Best

인천국제공항이 지난 3월 12일(현지시간) 아랍에미리트 두바이에서 개최된 ACI(Airports Council International, 국제공항협의회) 주관 세계 공항서비스평가 시상식에서 2년 연속 세계 최우수 공항상을 수상했다.

이번 수상은 ACI가 세계 86개 주요공항에 대하여 서비스와 시설·운영분야 등 총32개 분야에 걸쳐 실시한 공항서비스모니터링(ASQ, Airport Service Quality) 결과에 따른 것이다.

인천공항은 전체 13개 수상 부문 중 『세계 최우수 공항(Best Airport Worldwide)』뿐만 아니라 『아시아-태평양 최고 공항(Best Airport in Asia-Pacific)』, 『중대형공항 최고 공항(Best Airport (2,500~ 4,000만명)』, 『아시아-태평양 이용객이 선정한 우수 공항(Regional Airport People Awards)』으로 선정됨으로써 인천공항이 속한 4개 부문을 모두 석권하며 명실상부한 세계 최고의 공항으로 인정받았다.

Incheon International Airport in South Korea once again gained top honors in the 2006 Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality Awards held Monday night in Dubai, the organization announced. At the customer service awards, Incheon International Airport was named "Best Airport Worldwide," with Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur coming in second and third respectively.
