While Yasir Osman Alumayyan, chairman of Aramco, the world's largest oil company, and president of Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund (PIF), visited Korea from the 6th to 8th, an official from the Prince Sultan University (PSU) of Saudi Arabia visited our university on the 6th. PSU is Saudi Arabia's first private university located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a Department of Aviation Management. The official administrator, who visited our university, is an official in the aerospace, defense, and economic fields of Saudi Arabia. This official is in charge of developing cross-border cooperation projects based on his extensive network with PSU and with Saudi Arabian government agencies.

Later that day, the PSU visiting team met with President Huh Hee-young and other faculty members and toured the micro satellites and drone research laboratories, the Air Traffic Control Education Center, and the Goyang Drone Anchor Center facility where our university is an operating service provider. "We expect to be able to pursue joint projects in various fields with the Korean government, academia and industry in the future," they said, asking the visiting laboratories and facilities to actively propose future projects, while hinting that they will also consider student and teacher exchange programs. The two universities are expected to sign an MOU between late October and early November and promote multilateral cooperation projects.
