The freshman support team held a special lecture inviting Ilker Basaran, the head of Turkish Airlines' Korean branch, to enhance students' understanding of the aviation industry. On April 8, 123 domestic and foreign students attended the special lecture held at the 108th lecture hall on the campus.

Basaran, the branch manager, gave a special lecture titled "Understanding the Future Air Transport Industry." As it was a lecture for freshmen, he explained the history and future of the global air transport industry based on his experience in an easy-to-understand manner, while advising on the capabilities and talents required in the future aviation industry. During the Q&A session, incumbent officials, including branch manager Basaran, answered students' questions directly.

Students who participated in the special lecture left reviews such as, "Today's special lecture was very helpful because it was my dream to get a job at an airline," "It was a meaningful time to hear about a company's growth process and development plan," and "It was good to know Turkish Airlines well."

An official from the freshman support team said, "We are grateful for the positive response from the special lecture that we prepared with the hope that it will serve as an opportunity for students to broaden their understanding of the future industry and prepare for the capabilities required in the air transportation sector."
